A palette knife is an essential tool for working with Modeling Glass. It's used to cut out shapes, blend it  to make new colors, and apply impasto layers to sheet glass or on top of other dry Modeling Glass. The tool measures 6.75" long and has a high quality, flexible stainless steel blade that measures 3.25" long.
 
The cheaper ones sold elsewhere typically have rigid blades that don't work as well.
