Silicone molds and Modeling Glass are a match made in heaven! Simply spread the MG into the mold, then place it in your oven at 175-200 degrees F. When the MG is dry, it will pop right out of the mold (silicone is heat safe up to 500 degrees F). Then you can sand the edges, use a clean-up tool, and pre-fire the pieces to have piles of beautiful components ready when you have the need to use them in a piece. No freezing required!
 
Length of drying time depends on humidity, temperature, depth of the mold, and how many pieces you are drying at one time. A mid-depth mold like this should be dry in 45 minutes to one hour.
 
Mold measures 4.5" x 6" x .25" and makes 13 leaves of varying designs.
